Chicago Skeptics Meetup Group
http://meetup.com/Chicago-Skeptics/
This group is open to any and all people who enjoy applying a skeptical yet open-minded filtter to the world around us. Modern skepticism is embodied in the scientific method, which involves gathering data to formulate and test naturalistic explanations for natural phenomena. The key to skepticism is to continuously and vigorously apply the methods of science to navigate the treacherous straights between "know nothing" skepticism and "anything goes" credulity.
